The material is soft and cushioned. The strap helps keep wiggly bodies in place. I recommend using a changing pad liner on top, so that the pad doesn't stain over time.
This product is fantastic, and anyone looking to purchase a changing pad should choose one in this style as opposed to the cloth ones. Very impressed with this changing pad, the only downside is it’s a little cold for them at first.
Fits perfectly with my ikea dresser and great quality and overall easy to clean. We use them in two cribs that have the changing stations attached. All of our caregivers love it.

Only isssue it comes and goes from in stock to out of stock alot so if you put it on your registry be on the look out or if you see it in stock just buy it
