They work well for feathered friends too. Works 100% as advertised. Great for the crate too.
Cons
It works well enough, it's just the seams that leak horribly. It leaks around the cap also. Not spillproof, even a little.
Such a disappointment, the quality and manufacturing seems to have changed dramatically. Poor design. Nice idea, poorly executed.

Isnt leak proof and yes i screwed the cap on right and didnt over tighten it either

Not a lot of water builds up in the drinking area either i found myself having to push and hold on it just so that it would be full enough to be drank from

So our floor is consistently wet

I had to start using it as her main water now instead of a travel one since it started getting hot and she completely emptied her regular bowls way too much and then would start barking to get it refilled

Not suitable for big dogs 70 plus pounds they drink too fast and a lot more than the container can handle specially in this hot weather
