I was worried at first because it comes out of the tube white but sure enough after curing for a little over a day it became clear not cloudy either and there was no trace of white

It can be painted but that was not needed on this job because its almond color was an exact match to the painted walls

First apply the caulk by squeezing it into the joint directly from the tube
