Pros

This is a perfect fit for the 5-quart dutch oven that comes in the lodge 5-piece cast iron set. The basket is sturdy, well-built and looks great. Perfect combination for frying.

The handle folds into the basket for easy storage inside the empty dutch oven. No more picking out items with a fork or slotted spoon. The handle is very stable, but when the time comes to put it into the dishwasher, it's quite difficult to fold up.

Cons

Look for a non-chromed non-welded fry basket. Should just be a basic steel basket that's woven together, not welded. The foldable handle seems nice for storage, but doesn't snap in.
