Pros
Using this nifty rubber/silicon handle cover makes it a pleasure. Can't comment on the durability yet. Lodge prevents those chance burns from grabbing a handle that on the stovetop is never hot to the touch.
The lodge hot handle holder is perfect for my cuisinart 10 stainless steel skillet. Fits great on my 9in debuyer pan handle. I bought this for my merton & storck carbon steel skillet; it fits like it was made for it.
It fits snuggly in the handle of the matfer pan i just bought. However, the handles are a little difficult to get onto a substantially thick pot/pan handle. It's always on my pan, imo it's a must have with the matfer.
The orange is a nice reminder as well.
Cons
The lodge handle holder negates this benefit. The handle fits if you remove the yellow rubber button on the handle but again the rubber handle it self has a bit of weight to it.

This is a must-have for compatible lodge pan handles, it fits very well in the hand and allows you to handle the pan much easier.
It was easy to place over the pan handle, and keeps you from getting burned by a heated handle.
The issue is that the handle is very wide and flat, which makes it extremely uncomfortable to hold without a grip.
Easy to slide on doesn’t come off while in use, but can be removed easily for times when you need to season the pan in the oven.

I selected this particular holder because it was sold by another vendor as part of a package with the exact same carbon steel pan that we own
