Pros
These cast iron bread pans are superb. No more roasting turkeys for me. Cooks meatloaf very very well. When making a small batch of brownie, this pan makes every piece an edge piece.
I scrub cast iron cookware without soap. Cleanup is quite easy, and afterward i give each pan a light wipe of canola blend oil. Lard works the best.
Cast iron retains heat well. Disperses heat evenly.
I have quite a bit of cast iron cookware from lodge and this is another winner. I usually get my lodge pots, pans etc from costco because affordability, now i can get them over here! They are affordable and since they last for many years they save you... Read More
There is a learning curve to caring for it but it is worth the time and effort. It works great for me and have no complaints. All lodge products are a great value.
Cons
I have quite a few pieces of lodge cast iron cookware, but these definitely do not live up to the others i own. Why is this impractical/impossible to remove sticker on the pan? Also this is tiny af and can't hold a bread loaf.

Ive used aluminum and ceramic bread pans for years but generally got a crust color that differed from the top color not so with this one

I used canola oil wiped it down and put it upside in in the oven at 450 for an hour

The recipe calledfor an initial temperature of 425 degrees and after 20 minutes turning the oven down to 375 for another 25 minutes

I cooled the pan on a wire rack for about 10 minutes and expected to have to run butter knife around the edge but to my surprise the loaf had completely released and i was able to lift the loaf out of the pan
