Pros & Cons
Pros
Low sides are great for searing a tomahawk ribeye, letting the bone overhang the pan. It fits the induction cooktop on my timberline xl perfectly. Nice griddle for meats indoors during the winter.
Have cooked everything from veggie burgers, turkey burgers to eggplant and peppers in this pan. It's a bit more effort to clean than nonstick surfaces but not terribly difficult.
Highlights
Quality
First use on this one, high heat stovetop to oven of beef and chicken it was super easy cleanup.
This pan is cast iron so it obviously takes special treatment but thus is the best grill pan ever.
We were using aluminum foil which i recently learned is unhealthy.
I coated it with some grape seed oil before the first use and popped it.

Usually i have to reseason any new cast iron and then it takes at least 25 uses to start getting good
