The pictures almost look like its regular cast iron with a black seasoned patina but its actually a light somewhat rough enamel coating

Just because its enameled doesnt mean that its no stick in any way

If you do get anything with liquid on the pan it falls into the groves and burns and smokes and usually becomes very difficult to clean
