The colour is gorgeous and the finish impeccable. Solidly made, but on the heavy side. Perfectly maintain tempretaure for excellent pot roast.

This dutch oven has metal that is thicker than another one that i have from a well known brand - i like that. Je suis super content. J’en voulais un depuis longtemps.

The lid is, in fact, not self-basting (as advertised). Enamel was heavily chipped on the inside at delivery. My biggest gripe with this pot after having used it enough times is that it has such a small flat bottom area for effective frying.

I seldomly give bad reviews, this is an exception. The staub products we have are more durable and worth the extra momey. Horrible experience shopping lodge products.
