Pros

This holder fits my handle without being short, i have a 9 inch cast iron skillet. A pot holder and towel is a bit more flexible in terms of what it can grab.

They are durable, comfortable on the hand, look good in the kitchen, and are machine washable. Keeps your hand from being burned. This handle protector works like a charm!

The pads are a little big for my cast iron skillet handles. They provide good insulation and fit lodge cast iron skillets perfectly.

Cons

Handle closest to skillet burns/ scorches easily. Worst part is the flame resistant material released a heavy acrid smoke that cleared out the room.
