Pros
Great quality, great packaging. Only complaint is the shipping. Will not hurt overall function but very irritating to pay for something new and get it with chips. A lot of lodges newer products are. Packaged really well.
The 2 quart oven is big enough that you hold it with two hands. Small enough to not make a ridiculously large amount of food.
Cons
Seems like the lodge company is phoning it in these days. Surprising poor quality. A bit disappointed.
Lid is too loose for a dutch oven. The lid is looser only in some places. Does not help when it's shipped w/o proper padding as the product's box was torn exposing part of the pot.
The lids get dings from the seasoning. I understand above but wish there was more quality control and that is not placed upon customer to season again and hope that the dinged pot goes away or darken. There was still fairly large clumps of sand from t... Read More

This is the best,this product you can pass on to your children its so well made.
This pot is heavy ~ easy to clean , the only thing i would change is the handle,
Your food won't stick and it won't rust as long as you take proper care of it.

Shipping
Only 4 of 5 were delivered so we are still waiting on #5.
Emailed lodge customer support and they sent a replacement handle that arrived in 3 days.
At first amazon first sent me the wrong product, i received two plastic mugs but they quickly corrected my order.
Packaging/appearance
Was still in the original box and had no defects or dings on the pot or the lid.
One of the boxes was torn quite a bit but they are cast iron so i assume it will be just fine.
Competitiveness
It's a little heavier than most other brands and antiques the same size but don't let that discourage you.

Evidently there were a couple bubbles that formed where the season finish did not quite take to the cast iron pot

Will have to bend the eyes on the handle in order to get them to fit as the holes in the tabs are a little tight
