After cooking, put water on the pan and heat it up. Then scrub with metal (chainmail scrubber) or wood to get the gunk off. It was preseasoned ready to go and was provided with a nice cookbook.

Finish is much rougher than either of my 2 lodge skillets. Lid is too loose for a dutch oven. Spots on the lid with chipped off seasoning/coating.

Horrible quality from lodge. I am really bummed. Not worth shipping back. Do not buy products from this company, they're trash.

The box is still trashed but has been taped up so it wasn't ripped to pieces upon delivery. Seems like the lodge company is phoning it in these days. No one even look at this thing before they shoved it in a box and sent it out the door.
