Pros

Made in the usa griddle. Smooth finish. Easy to clean. Moose is nice.

After eliminating the non-stick pans due to health risks, the two lodge cast irons are my go-to for daily use. Cast irons in general require a little more care to avoid rust. The pan was purchased as a christmas gift.

Cons

It is disappointing to know that the gift i got him was not as advertised. The order specified a deer, the receipt they received says deer.

I try to buy “made in the usa”, but the quality of lodge products in the last few years has been disappointing.

It came perfect except one tiny spot in the floor of it.

I purchased a comal made in columbia (also from amazon) which could also be smoother, but is much better than this one.

I've used other company wares and they are sorry compared to that made by lodge.
