Pros

These wildlife series are beautiful. Worth every penny. It was packed well and arrived on time. The wildlife scene is nice too.

I usually heat it up on the stove for a little while to ensure that it is bone dry. My favorite use is to sear steaks in the skillet, a few minutes on each side, and then finish cooking in a 400º oven until preferred level of doneness is reached.

Cleaning is easier with these skillets than casserole dishes and platters. I often serve dinner right from the skillet.

Upholds the lodge standard of quality and funtionality. Plus, the deer engraving on the bottom of the skillet is sort of cool. Overall, this is great skillet at a fantastic price.

Cons

Using this pan would be like making cornbread for a hobbit. The quality of lodge is below normal. Seasoning this pos takes about 30 times to get even a half way decent polymerization on the skillet.
