Pros
The low sides make it so easy to slide the dough into place without having to use parchment paper. I sprinkle some cornmeal on the dough before turning it out of the banneton. On both sides of the cookware. Perfect for making sourdough as well.
The lid becomes a fry pan also. The lid can be used with my existing 10 lodge frying pan. Unlike lodge pans you can inspect and buy at the store, these ones appear to be'seconds' the bonus is the skillet lid, how thoughtful!
