Pros & Cons
Pros
The oyster white color is my favorite - it's not a true white, but is a very nice neutral color and will coordinate with pretty much anything. Color is sick, is that pumpkin color usually i got for minimalist colors but this add that touch to the kitc... Read More
Lodge is a trustworthy brand. It’s a good option if you aren’t ready to splurge on higher cost brands. It is a reputable company and makes a good product.
Cons
Lodge enameled is made in china, it says so on their website. It claims to be dishwasher safe but there is no enamel on the rim of the pan making it impossible to wash in the dishwasher.
The pot is extraordinarily heavy and the proportionally very heavy lid are both a burden and unsafe to handle. The enamel on the inside of the lid is smooth enough, not one pinhole. The exterior also appears to have become discolored after use.

It might not have the name, but it’s heavy duty, pretty, well done.
Price
I love the pot and highly recommend this pot for such a great price.
I pay money for my stuff and would rather not have to pay out more money for a replacement.
Since you can pay a lot for a dutchoven.
Packaging/appearance
I had kept all of the packaging so it is was easy to repack and take to our local whole foods to return it.
I ordered the desert sage dutch oven thinking it would be the interesting creamy sage as is pictured, but it is a solid green sage.
Competitiveness
Compared to more expensive brands like le creuset, the lodge offers exceptional performance at a fraction of the price13.
This works just aa great as expensive brands.
If you compare this product to similar fancy names ones, you get a very nice product that costs much less.
No need to buy a more expensive brand.
