Pros

No regrets for me. And the caribbean blue is delightful. I also like that it has the cream colored insides instead of the dark.

Lodge recommends searing the meat in another pan and then transferring the browned meat to the dutch oven to continue with the recipe. Add the rest of your ingredients to make stew.

Cons

Inside enameled peel off after few use. The enamel is very thin, evidently. This ceramic coating appears to be of extremely poor quality.

I am sickened and disappointed. Lodge better get this fixed, or their reputation will nosedive.

sorry this product cannot be returned/replaced. Buyer beware. Will not buy another and would not recommend. Would like to return, but amazon won't allow it.

The lid has two chipped irons. Who wants to put chipped items on the table or buffet?
