Pros

The deer engraving on the bottom of the skillet is sort of cool, at least compared to a plain lodge skillet.

This is the right size to bake cornbread in and that should help build up seasoning. The pan is also perfect for making grilled cheese sandwiches or eggs. It is important to let the pan itself heat up on the stove before putting any food in it.

Small griddle has to be held by the handle when i'm trying to do things to the pancakes. Bottom is rough but after more uses it should get a little smoother.

Love lodge american made cast iron cookware, they are great. Lodge pans are heavier (weight) than some others but that speaks to the quality.
