Once i figured out those three magic steps, it works a treat. No fuss. Perfect match and no mods needed.
Cons
Ghz wifi isn't up to scratch. Poor wi-fi makes the camera unusable. Logitech advise to disable any kind of roaming / fast roaming mechanism.
Highlights
Quality
The video & sound quality are excellent and the the camera gives a wide field of view and has night vision.
The sound quality is very good, picking up sound via the built in mic.
Once working it has an excellent 180 picture quality and lots of automation options.
Competitiveness
I like that it’s designed for homekit.
Bought a pair of small black ball joint brackets for wall speakers from screwfix.
It seemed to install but failed to show up in any homekit menus on several iphones and ipads.
Eventually had to reset our homepod and set up every device again to get full integration on all devices.

I came back to this page to buy a second one for the front of my home but there are none in stock saw the bad reviews and thought to leave my thoughts

I deliberately choose this camera as a convert camera to work on the opposite side of my garden so i switched off night vision and the status light

So i had to set up a zone to detect only my garden

Also if i do flip down the camera it would then be helpful in remembering which angle the camera was

I have multiple access points in my home i had to configure my access points to reject connections from the camera and leave the closest one open read up on access point binding2
