Pros

The camera is easy to set up and produces a nice, clear, sharp image. The audio delivers crystal clear sound. Plenty of resolution options available, which is helpful if your bandwidth is limited.

The brio 301 works seamlessly with any laptop or desktop. The connector is usb-c only, so just keep it in mind. Logitech's commitment to modern convenience and compatibility.

The camera adjusts for light condition automatically and perfectly. The privacy shutter and led activity light is an excellent feature. The (physical) privacy slider is something that may others seem to disregard.

There is a light that has two colors to indicate if you are using the mic only. The mic is pretty good. Picture quality is great for video conferencing.

The quality of the camera is superb, better than you will see in any integrated laptop camera. Plugging in the usb c cord has the computer recognizing it immediately. Teams/zoom automatically override my laptop camera for this one.

Cons

This webcam has terrible lag. It also randomly cuts out during calls on both meet and teams. After it cuts out, i have to completely unplug the webcam and plug it back in. It works intermittently at best.

It connected right away within a few minutes of setting it up.

Price

This little webcam works great for how inexpensive it is.

Aside from this, i found this webcam to be a perfect fit for a reasonable price.

But the picture and ease of setup is all i could hope for at that price point.

Picture quality is great for the price.

Competitiveness

I ordered it to use with my macbook pro 2019, and i can say that it's a thousand times better than the built-in camera by mac.

It also stays clipped to my laptop more firmly than other models at this pricepoint.

I bought this because every other logitech product i've ever bought was simply "plug-and-play.
