Being a convertible, from laptop style with keyboard to hand held tablet style, it has a lot of functionality. Very sturdy, backlit keyboard for ease of typing at night. Stand is extremely sturdy and allows a great range of positions.

The track pad is relatively large. It has a nice tactile feel. The trackpad also has a tactile click. Ithink the trackpad is great, and i love that i can remove it to use the ipad air alone.
