The detachable keyboard part is very smooth and pleasing. The kickstand is pretty nice and sturdy. The textured felt of the case and the outside of the keyboard is also nice.
Cons
This keyboard are makes the air heavy and bulky. Highly do not recommend. It clearly states that it is compatibility with the 7th generation ipad and it does not fit.
The keys on the logitech slim folio are open to dirt and liquids getting in, whereas the apple smart keyboard is sealed. The camera is also misaligned. Trackpad is just ok.
Just got the cover. No wrapping, looks like just thrown in the box. We assume this specific item is faulty and are returning it. Returned and reordered at a lower price.

I ended up going with the logitech and have zero regrets.
-great that i can use all the gestures on the trackpad, just as you can with the apple keyboard.

The function row keys are excellent and keep my fingers off of the screen.
Competitiveness
It cost much less than the competition and does the same thing.
I bought this for my wife’s ipad air.

Also while i like the option of detaching the keyboard it leaves you wondering what to do with it when it’s not on the ipad

Works great when it works but sometimes the mouse or keyboard simply stop working one or the other never both and then require some troubleshooting

The name brand keyboard he had previously purchased was cumbersome didn’t provide the protection he was looking for and was therefore returned

The cheaper versions available might look nice but they usually connect via bluetooth and need to be charged
