Pros

The bottom has a thin pillow like padding that feels good on your legs.

With the two-speed fan on low, the logitech n200 is quieter than a whisper--and it cools my mbp down. The fan has two modes low and high. The second setting is quite a bit louder, louder than my internal fan.

The pad is definitely comfortable enough for lap use because of the padded bottom. My 15-inch mbp sits stably on this pad. It has a cushioned bottom so it is very comfortable when you place it on your lap.

When its on my desk, the pad props my laptop up at a good angle. It also has a tapered lip to keep the laptop from moving around. The notebook sits securely on top.

Cons

This is the worst logitech product i ever bought. Soft underside is the only reason this product isn't a complete failure. It fails at actual cooling but if you just want something to place your laptop on, it's a good product.

Is it worth my time to try and get it pulled apart and troubleshoot if it's a power supply issue or fan motor issue? Even now, it seems that the wires have probably worn out or something.

Price

I'm looking for a new one actually, but the price of this is too high for me.

Ok so i bought this one at target about 3 years ago for probably around $50.

Shipping

Was disappointed that it took 9 days to ship this to me.

Competitiveness

I have tried 2 other cheaper brands and there is a marked difference in the feel and operation.

I would definitely recommend this and will continue to buy from logitech.
