The keys are much closer together than any keyboard you have used before. They kind of * down from the upper keys to the lower ones, which for touch typists makes it a little difficult. The touch of the keys on the keyboard only takes a couple of days... Read More

Battery life is good, with extended usability on disposable aa/aaa batterie. I use my computer for about 10 hours a day and the mx-3000 mouse and keyboard are still going stong with original batteries after 7 weeks.

This is the replacement i saw on amazon while searching through google. But with the attractive price of this mx3000 set, this is so tempting. It turns out the mouse packaged with the mx3000 is similar/identical to the logitech mx610.

The keyboard has a compact feel. The wrist rest is narrow, but is comfortable and has a nice grip finish that allows sliding but not slipping.

Cons

The keyboard lag and mouse lag are noticeable and i think the key may be in how close you are to the receiver. Even in normal messenger/chat it lags.

Even with the rear pegs out the angle is almost zero. If you are left handed, it is hard to hit the space bar with your left thumb.

I've tried the ex 110 which was a big piece of junk, and the lx 300 which was a little better than the ex, but still was crappy.

There is an mx1000 version of this keyboard, the mx5000, however it is twice the price of the mx3000.
