Logitech g502x (black)this is a direct comparison with the g502, which i have used in various forms for many years.
This g502x has optical buttons, so hopefully won't suffer the same way.
I hoped the g502 x would be very similar but found it doesn't have the weights that made the hero se a joy to use.
According to sales data the g502 is the world's bestselling mouse, they took something amazing and made it even better.

Bought it as i lost my other logitech while moving which i much preferred since it had small weights i could add in the base and felt better built but it seems like it may have been replaced with this

However ive noticed that the wheel is hypersensitive i have a very small ergonomic mouse pad and i lift the mouse after almost every move and the wheel 34jumps34 almost every time unless its on the ratchet as opposed to freewheeling
