Pros

The battery life is amazing, if you arent using the lightspeed. I like the fact it works with bluetooth which makes the battery last months. It has onboard memory for multiple profiles and it also supports bluetooth and it lightning wireless dongle.

It's hard to go back to anything else when you get so used to scrolling like a madman. Scroll wheel is louder that it could have been. There are also 5 dpi settings that can be created and shifted between.

It's almost identical to the g700 except it has 2 additional button on the thumb side, which is a bonus for me when gaming. The hyperscroll mousewheel is a welcome addition.

The g604 is a downgrade from the discontinued g602 that i loved.

The only way to describe this atrocity is that it is completely demented. Just a total waste. Only going to frustrate you.

Moving the mouse makes the scroll roll on its own, and it is not registering on the computer at all. The smooth scroll is a nice touch, but too sensitive. It's very coarse and hardly moves the page when 1 unit of scroll is used.

The interface is clunky and confusing. You cannot set a single dpi. You can't remove any programs it automatically detects.

This mouse is amazing and for a good price too!

Competitiveness

- given that wireless mmo mice are pretty niche, it offers great value compared to its competition.

For gaming, the side buttons and additional pointer finger button are an easy compromise coming from a g600.

Mouse is definitely more responsive and less delayed compared to the g602 regardless of polling rate, which surprised me.
