Pros & Cons
Pros
The g435 is nearly indistinguishable in audio quality from the g733. Headset is excellent, and the mic works great as well.
Super lightweight and comfortable no pains using for a few hours. The headband digs into the top of my head though, my head is very large. Get these for your teenaged gamers.
Logitech pro x wireless (shroud edition), g733 and g435. My other mice utilize the powerplay mouse pad, which is nice but costly. This headset is 100% wireless as it comes with the 2.
The g435 and g305 combination for under $65 is phenomenal. It's really stylish and nice looking. Only issue i found with it so far is the volume is a bit low overall.
Cons
The logitech g435 is a unique blend of features, but it falls short in crucial areas like sound and mic quality. It's hard to head as it switches your headphones from the [headphones] setting to [headset] which to my knowledge is not changeable. Serio... Read More
The sound is very annoying. The sounds through the headset are way to sharp. Unbelievably frustrating and annoying.
Worked fine for about 6 months then stopped connecting to the dongle. Contacting logitech support doesn't work. The other unit still works.
When they're plugged in, sometimes the light turns green, sometimes it blinks green. I keep leaving them plugged in overnight, and they seem to have no battery in the morning.
Highlights
Quality
The surround sound is great and the sound quality is nice.
Wife likes the sound quality of the headphones and the mouse she said feels better and is better quality then the staples mouse she had.
These headphones feature a microphone that’s not moveable or detachable, and to be quite frankly honest: the mic sucks.
Negatives:- more than twice as heavy as older models (logitech headsets from the 2000s were just under 3 ounces, and this one is around 5.
Price
Like everything about it, price good too
Got these on sale for about $30 bucks.
Bought it for less than $50 but it does go under $40 occasionally and is a good buy at either price point.
I got it discounted but i would still buy it full price.
Competitiveness
On that same economic point, the g435 is nearly indistinguishable in audio quality from the g733.
The g435 also lacks bluevoice technology based on my recollection.
However, that headset was at a premium over both the g733 and the g435, and has 50mm drivers rather than 40mm drivers.
