Pros

The supercardioid pickup pattern is impressive. Make sure you turn on the smart audio lock feature, it does a great job at preventing you from clipping and distorting. The audio on my video games and normal content videos are now immensely better.

There are some simple gain controls in the software and some presets that serve as a good starting point. It switches seamlessly without glitch, always at the press of a button my my usb switch selector box.

Cons

The yeti gx is sadly a flop. The bass is a bit weak and distorts somewhat easily. It's an uphill battle to access the settings for this mic and not have g hub *.

The unboxing and setup were quick and easy, and the mic itself looks clean and professional.
