Pros
The shape,*,sound,feel and spacing of the keys is perfect for me. Typing is a breeze. It takes getting used to coming from using a regular sized keyboard. The keys are really soft and really makes typing feel quiet and quicker!
The g11 is big, but it's a no nonsense board. The only real downfall that i have is the wrist resting area is just a simple piece of plastic. A simple $4-7 investment on a real cushion for your wrists is recommended. This keyboard receives a ton of us... Read More
The keyboard is a monster. Seriously, this thing is a beast.
Audio controls work well, particularly the volume control which rotates (like an old fashioned rheostat) comes with very handy media control *. Only issue with this keyboard is the usb ports. No batteries required for the headset.
Even at its brightest setting, the illuminated keys aren't too annoying. Its glowy blue keys are beautiful in the dark.
Cons
The 20 dollar stock keyboard that came with my computer outlasted this hightech over priced piece of computer hardware. However, it is not.

Problem with the pretty blue glow is the fact that it has two settings. Dim and not quite as dim. Fancy frills are an excuse to skimp on other, more important things.

Software that comes with it is pretty bad, though, it stopped working on my windows 7 one day and i was too lazy to reinstall it.
Price
A simple $4-7 investment on a real cushion for your wrists is recommended.
If you want a very good keyboard, for the price, this is the one, very nice keyboard.
I purchased it for a good price,so i can't complain.
This would get a 5-star review if it didn't cost so much.

Received as payment for a computer repair.
Setting them up initially took a while so be sure to take your time and do it right.

The backlights have gotten a little dim and the n key is a little worn because i have a habit of idly tapping it with my index finger but the only other sign of wear is the edge of where the silver meets the black below the spacebar where my hands rest when typing

If it were to somehow fail i dont know what would do it short of the thing deciding to get up one night fly to ukraine and rocket through an entire column of russian mbts id definitely buy another one and run it until the heat death of the universe and stop then only because the universe ended not because the g11 stopped working
