Pros & Cons
Pros
The mouse is comfortable to use for extended periods of time and does not lag. The scroll wheel is so0o0 satisfying to let spin endlessly, just the right amount of * too.
Solid build quality, nothing creaks. The customization via the program is amazing. Coupling this with my 3d connexion spacemouse at the office for modeling has been nothing but great.
Software works good to customize it's dpi. The weights that it brings is also a very nice feature to have. Allows you to fine tune the feel and get just the right sensation.
Cons
It's too bad logitech tarnished the good g502 name on this subpar mouse. The mouse comes with an usb-a plug and no adapter to the necessary usb-c. Gave it away to get a g502 hero. Gonna try and get a refund.
It cycles on/off very fast when right button is pressed down. The switch is faulty so just let me send it to you so you can test it and verify the problem in less than 5 clicks. You can't drag the mouse to drag files or select multiple files.
Highlights
Quality
Upgraded from a 7-year-old logitech mx518 and the sensor on the mouse feel incredibly smooth, comparatively.
The standard model has been my go to mouse for years, these are awesome for about any type of game you want to play, smooth and durable.
All my other logitech products i have bought in the last few years have died and quit.
Unfortunately, within a month began having clicking issues where it was double clicking.
Price
Fairly expensive but mostly worth the price, very comfortable and accurate tracking.
This thing is simply the best mouse for an affordable price, that money can buy.
You can usually get this guy for $50 when its on sale, and boy is that a deal.
You definitely get what you pay for!
Shipping
They need to spy on us so they can give us what we want.
Competitiveness
The g502 hero has the fancy-dancy hero sensor, which is, i think, the best sensor that they sell.
I have used many mice from many manufacturers and this is far and away the best for me for fps.
