Pros & Cons

Pros

The g502x is a decent mouse for the price and had decent reviews. It's not perfect, but very few products are, and it's strong where it needs to be. I wholeheartedly promise this is the nicest/best mouse on the market.

Great ergonomic design and easy-to-use software. Rgb is very easy to set up and had a lot of options for customizing. Customizable - logitech g software has flaws, but it does allow some pretty good versatile configurations.

Lighter, switches feel better, higher dpi, etc. It is quite light (lighter than i am used to) and very comfortable.

Cons

The imbalanced scroll wheel is absolutely unacceptable and a deal-breaker. The locking wheel toggle button feels clunky and grindy.

G hub, the program you use to configure the mouse, is cringe. After 15 minutes of it retrying, it finally downloads and installs. One other thing i hate is the dpi color indicator.

The last straw is that it's just too loud for recording. The * are mushy, and their different placement than the 502 is awkward. The reversible thumb button pops off during normal use and is small enough that it might never be found if lost. The sound...  Read More

It constantly lags, like it's buffering. It will constantly reset to default with 2 profiles. Sometimes it corrupts so bad the polling rate goes to 1hz and none of the * work.

Quality

The only improvement i would like to see if a higher quality cable.

I've had this mouse for a few months now and find it very good quality.

The mechanical switch is extremely loud and also sounds springly.

This irritation is compounded by the baffling placement of the dpi switching buttons.

Price

The led lights, though superfluous and an added cost, are pleasant to look at and have smooth gradient effects.

Couldn’t recommend this enough - definitely worth every cent!

A decent mouse for the price and had decent reviews.

These are most likely on sale to a new one coming hopefully

Shipping

I only confirmed it was right-handed after it had shipped.

Competitiveness

Very similar buildwise, but i find this wireless version of the g502 lineup to be absolutely amazing.

Just like it's predecessor, this one is certainly living up to the g502 reliability, affordability, and quality.

Ive tried other named brands, but they just don't compare.

Again the software is a big deal too, since the g502 & the hero were able to use "logitech gaming software" while this has to...  Read More

Basically a wireless 502 hero however there is no option to put in lead weight so the mouse does feel light if you are used to a full lead 502
