I havent had an issue with the battery life seems great takes 2 aaa batteries but the the battery door was made by a crazy person they appear to have been thinking too hard on that one

Lag happens with this and all bluetooth keyboards and mice in windows because windows turns off your bluetooth hardware to save power

To solve this search for device manager

Look for the bluetooth devices and just double click on each of them until you see a power management tab

Uncheck allow the computer to turn off this device to save power
