Quality
I needed this keyboard with the light since half my shift work it gets dark early.
I use it for 8-10 hours a day with the minimum backlight set and have to change it every 5-6 days.
Also, the usb receiver that comes with the keyboard could also be connected to my wireless mouse, so did not have to buy a new mouse.
Competitiveness
In all a good product and worth the higher price.

Just go to logitech and download the little app to redirect your mouse to the receiver

The only glitch so far is it doesnt turn on after an update reboot
