Pros & Cons
Pros
For $71 on sale, this keyboard is hard to beat. Build quality of the keyboard is solid like the ibm. Chassis is a bit light compared to other popular mechanical keyboards, but for sub-$100 keyboard, this is pretty good.
The backlighting is pleasant, but i think this keyboard would still be worth the price even without it. It's not super noticeable unless the light is on highest brightness but something to note. The keys light up well without becoming distracting.
I love that it has a num pad, as i hate hunting and pecking.
The backlit keys are just fabulous. Multimedia functions with fn key.
Brown means tactile bump but without a loud click. Cherry mx reds are industry standard.
Cons
Main problem with this keyboard is noise! I love the mechanical keyboard feel but the noise of this one makes it not suited for typing anything. Feel flimsy and cheap, and are super loud. Less than a week from delivery and the keycap 'w' is already di... Read More
Highlights
Quality
I really enjoy this keyboard, the build is clean and sturdy.
Very sturdy, the aluminum keeps it in place and feels strong.
One of the leds almost burnt out and is now greener and dimmer than the others.
This keyboard has it all except the most important security features, no ps2 support.
Price
For the price, this keyboard is excellent!
Good value keyboard if you want illuminated mechanical keys for a low price.
You get exactly what you pay for with this keyboard, and i mean that positively.
Which i can afford to do since this complete setup wasn't too pricey.
Shipping
3 days later i got a new keyboard at no extra cost and i was allowed to keep the faulty one.
Competitiveness
The keys are much better than the cheap fakes found on most amazon keyboards.
I like typing on this keyboard a lot vs some older logitech wireless keyboards.
It is like night and day when compared to that totally horrible g513.
The keyboard rests high enough that it works with even the worst chinese knockoff foam/gel mats on the market.
