Pros
To say it was a life saver is an understatement. The scroll-wheel is very positive and the click mechanisms are exactly as you would want them to be. Normal service was resumed.
Great for travelling, or for use on raspberry pi's. The unified receiver can be used with several logitech devices all at once. I reckon logitec are about the best for computer accessories.
Installation is simple, just insert battery, plug in the usb dongle, and off you go.
Cons
The battery lasts for a year, then breaks. The click wheel is appalling - the wheel is so loose that i find it almost impossible to center-click without scrolling. Isn't unifying and doesn't com with a unifying dongle.

Good product only the reciever was in battery compartment should say that's where it is.

This makes it very difficult to switch the mouse off and on using your fingers or thumb doing which is essential in order to conserve battery power

A metal switch top would be less prone to such abrasion and would avoid this problem giving the mouse an even longer troublefree service life

The only but warning is either stop putting a huge empty space in the back of the packing where it could logically be expected that the receiver would be or put the warning picture showing the receiver inside the battery case on the cardboard you can see from the outside without opening

I didnt want to open in case i had to return it as incomplete could see nowhere for the receiver to be from the outside so i ended up ringing support the only way to deal with any issue to be told it was located inside the battery case
