Pros & Cons
Pros
Customizable *, good range, good battery life. Logitech's customization software is pretty easy to use, and more in-depth than basic windows functionality.
Cons
Mouse jumps from barely moving at all to opening every window on my screen. Scroll wheel is cheaply designed and is noisey. The only thing this mouse has going for it is that it has a fast scroll mode!
The mouse is not as comfortable as other logitech mice. It holds 6 months on one battery. To get the feel and responsiveness i recommend the anywhere mx 2 mouse.
The tracking ability of the m560 is erratic and lacks precision. The software is screwy and it will sometimes die and i have to restart it to get my settings to work. The mouse randomly freezes or loses connection and needs to be power cycled to start... Read More
There's no clicky feel to it. It confuses left clicks for right ones and vice-versa. The left button misfires during dragging.
Highlights
Quality
Nice, light weight, works on any surface (so far) i really like the customizable buttons
It's a quality mouse with great driver support.
Mines cracked in half when trying to remove it, and does not work anymore.
And the only way to remap the buttons is to have the logitech setpoint software constantly running, which can be intrusive for ... Read More
Price
I got it for under twenty five bucks and it was a real steal.
Beyond that it is still 100% worth every penny.
As the title states, you are stealing it during cyber monday week or any other time it is on sale.
I just bought this mouse in 2019 and paid 29.
Competitiveness
This one has lasted longer than all other brands i have owned.
Also, i have logitech gaming devices and they use one software, and this device uses a different logitech software.

I hoped to get a really good scroll wheel but no
Posted by a reviewer on Amazon
The scroll wheel can be easily changed between two modes just by pushing down on it completely free spinning or chunky stepped movement
Posted by a reviewer on Amazon
The problem is that the free spin is hard to control because there is no resistance and even after you let go it can keep going a little bit
Posted by a reviewer on Amazon
And the increments feel a bit too large with the stepped mode
Posted by a reviewer on Amazon
In either case the software is screwy and it will sometimes die and i have to restart it to get my settings to work

I set the top button to be a 34middle button34

The default is a stupid app switcher that microsoft includes in windows
Posted by a reviewer on Amazon
And the software does not create a fine control smooth scrolling experience
