Pros

Wheel works as normal with the 2 states of pulsed and smooth. Battery truly is phernominal! It feels precise and responsive. Very good ergonomic desing.

Cons

The m705 as of 2021 feels like garbage. How companies can swap in a plasticky piece of rubbish is beyond me. The pointer is unstable suggesting that the laser is poor and cheap.

The scrolling is very jerky. The smooth scrolling is entirely random. When you scroll a little bit and you let go of the wheel, the screen goes backwards/forwards a bit in scrolling.

The right button sticks/bounces when using the left button. About 10% of these bounces are severe, as if the right button is getting stuck briefly and releasing (when i'm not even clicking it!

Scrape scrape scrape on the surface. The cursor slows to a crawl when used on something like a desktop. It's totally useless on any other surface, even a tabletop.
