Pros

This mouse is ergonomic in feel. Fits comfortably in the palm of my hand. I have a couple of mx-25s that are a similar weight but the profile is smaller.

On the trackpad, the natural scroll direction is good. Scrolling wheel has option for smoothing fast/continuous scrolling or with stoping & manual scrolling. Side scroll wheel button is an ideal copy/ paste for data entry.

The logitech mouse has boosted my productivity. It has replaced unnecessary clutter.

Cons

Another suffers from an inconsistent scroll issue. I try to highlight or move something, it acts as if i'm releasing and clicking over and over.

In notched mode, the wheel is sloppy, wobbly and the notches feel heavy and fumbly. It is not ergonomic at all. Its a * choppy mouse.

The mouse is unusable considering that every 15 or 20 seconds, the pointer ends up lagging or getting stuck somewhere. The mouse was used for work/recreation only and not gaming. My logitech m510 is far better.

I was using an mx vertical, and it stopped working properly (required extra clicks or automatically double-clicked).

Price

This m705 is a really nice mouse for the price.

I was worried i was going to have to spend more money and order a new mouse - nope this is still the same great mouse!

Competitiveness

In general i really liked the mx vertical, but this one is even better.

I tried another logitech model before this on and found the right-click button to be way too sensitive.
