Pros
Just insert the tiny usb & you get a flex-free keyboard and mouse. It seems impossible to find a logitech keyboard that has the same build quality as the kb1421.
What matters to me are ergonomics, responsiveness and ease of use. Keyboard action is smooth and i prefer it to other keyboards i have had.
Cons
Box was opened and bashed. Goes back to amazon. Logitech's unhelpful website says any refund has to come from reseller.
Keyboard keeps spontaneously disconnecting from pc and becomes unusable. If i move the receiver to a usb socket on the front of the pc the keyboard still doesn't work. Logitech's website is next to useless.
The new set is not worth it - buy something that works or regret settling for this. It feels flimsy, like it has been made out of recycled plastic egg boxes. Mouse feels cheap and the plastic surround feels sharp. Would prefer softer touch.

This is a great quality keyboard for the price.
Liquid damage is always a problem with keyboards,but the last one i had i put in a warm dry place and forgot it for a year or more.
I have had this product for a couple of months now, the quality is first class.
So with my laptop in a position where i can see the screen and with the keyboard on my lap, i can do my work in an officiant manner.
Price
For the price, can't complain about the material quality or battery life.

Very easy to install a pity that the description when i bought it did not make it clear that it was compatible with windows 10 and 11 but i sought assurances before buying that i could return

No indicator for caps lock on but only an issue really when entering passwords

Bought from amazon warehouse took a gamble as its german layout works for me maybe five or six buttons that are different havent swapped any over yet

The mouse is slightly smaller than the other logitech mice used previously but that is not a problem

The keyboard layout is different with the delete button replacing the insert buttin

But im content because the spec doesnt mention silent keys and i knew these are going to be noisy

Now into the 4th month of ownership and the middle scroll button when pressed should open the link the mouse is on
