The'sideways' wheel is genuinely useful, although isn't as nice as the main wheel. It is certainly a lot quieter when scrolling. I love how the roller clicks when scrolling slowly and then freespins when scrolling quickly.

No more scrabbling for an aaa or aa battery, and finding the kids have nicked them all. This is my 2nd, i have one for home, and one for travelling.

The software is dreadful and very buggy. The software keeps saying downloading updates.

Wheel is buggy, scrolls inconsistently and at random speeds. The wheel makes a disconcerting clunk when scrolling is complete, as if it is resetting its position.

It feels a bit cheap and leaves plenty to be desired. It's that old chestnut - apple doesn't play nice with others. Expensive premium feel but it wasn't good for me.
