It is an upgrade, not just a replacement. Features include advanced sensor technology. Darkfield laser sensor has a sensitivity of up to 8,000 dpi.

The logi options+ app works like a charm and ux is nice and neat. The ability to customise the * functions, and to do that on a per app basis, is a game changer. Works very well with mac, and comes with a really neat app to manage all the settings.

There's often a very slight lag as the mouse wakes up when you move it after a period of inactivity. However, having that option is still a plus. And it’s usb-c which makes it easy to charge up.

Cons

Switching computers button below the mouse is nonsensical. Osx allegedly has an issue with high cpu usage and high polling rates. I urge anyone tempted to buy this thing to opt instead for a g305 or something similar.

Ergonomic wise, not sure, the weight * any good intention. The side scroll wheel is overly sensitive and has uncontrollable functions. Even basic movements like moving mouse pointer lags.

I am very impressed with the smoothness and it is great having so many button options.

I was able to pair both the mouse and keyboard easily with the bolt receiver.

(im disapointed providing this is the top of the range product).

I haven't done anything with the additional gestures button on the thumb rest.

Price

Coming from the mx master 2 i think that this is a good upgrade especially now the price is coming down.

I'd been looking at this mouse for a while but had been put off by the price.

Packaging/appearance

I pulled it out of the box (the packaging and presentation of this mouse was exquisite may i say).

Competitiveness

As you can see by my 5-star rating i think pretty highly of this mouse and i haven't even used it for more than a week.

Otherwise one of the best mouses in the market.
