Pros

The logitech mx mechanical keyboard is an excellent keyboard for office use. The lower profile keys provide a slightly wider space between the keys which cuts down on the typos, etc without losing it's compact footprint. It's expensive for a keyboard ... Read More

Bluetooth connectivity is solid. Versatility with 3 device options to switch seamlessly to made easy. I have pc connected via bolt and ipad via bluetooth.

The battery lasts a very long time, even with heavy use. The backlighting is pretty good. The discreet backlighting and great configuration software complete an impressive package.

Nice and tactile clicky. Mechanical feel is excellent and the keys are etched so they won't wear off.

On a mac, any programming issues can be resolved by restarting. The proximity lighting feature automatically illuminates the keys when it senses the proximity of your hand.

Cons

If you take your hands away from the keyboard the backlighting goes off. The back light timeout is not configurable. Without a backlight toggle or always on option it defeats the very purpose for it to even exist.

I rarely post negative reviews but this was just unacceptable. Ordering different product and trashing this overpriced hunk of junk.

It's also terribly annoying that when it boots up for the first time that day, it will get super-bright, and then ease down to barely glowing. Lightshow is a joke being one simple color ••white in random, wave and a couple of others too blah to mentio... Read More

Software engineers need to pull their heads out of their * and stop being so grimy on updates/features. Logitech has the most useless chat support ai with no ability to transfer to human. Options software is useless.
