The matte plastic is a good choice as it doesn't look especially cheap. The mouse is nice too, despite having 2 serial numbers that don’t work.

Put 2 different brand new aa batteries in it, to no avail. Only way it works is to reset the bluetooth. Despite trying multiple configurations and connecting via usb and bluetooth, the lag is unbearable and makes it nearly impossible to use.

The left side of the mouse works about 30% of the time i clicked on it. No amount of clicking the button makes it stop. The left click is better, probably 4 in 5 clicks register but it's still problematic if you're doing anything precise.

Amazon customer service says they have changed their return/refund policy. Being a amazon prime member perhaps amazon is no longer a reliable reputable seller.
