Pros
Performance is undeniably improved with wireless. When this thing dies on me im getting another one.
Here is my long overdue review from 2007. It would be irresponsible of me to go on about how this controller feels perfect. For my hands, it's fantastic.
The face * are responsive and are not overly mushy, nor are they overly click-y. The analogs are very sturdy, and the connection is perfect.
Cons
The controller and receiver do not go together. Although the controllers did come with a usb connector, they did not come with the basic ps2 connector. This looks like a great deal, but i suggest getting your refurbished controllers elsewhere.
Left analog stick went weird. On the second controller, the x and square button started sticking; as other reviewers have said, these are two of the most important * on the controller. This x button is now useless.

The build is fantastic, the buttons are great and even-feeling, analogs are very sturdy, and the connection is perfect.
As advertised, works great, timing as promised.
It's worth a search i kid you not it was better then sony's design imo
Be careful of wires to the dual shock motors getting stuck in screws holes and cutting them when you put it back to gather after cleaning.
Price
And cause of that new ones cost a lot.
So i am not a huge gamer like i use to be, due to how expensive of a hobby this is.

Easy order , arrived ahead of schedule and above all it works like new.
Competitiveness
These are much better than ps2 controllers with wires.
I remember seeing a video on how comfortable it is and it really is, it's honestly better than the original ps2 controllers for me.
Compared to the nintendo wavebird, thix is garbage.
It wasn't clunky like most non-sony brands, however it was a name brand; logitech.

I play mostly racing games so the sticks have to be sensitive to steering input some of the thirdparty controllers have sticks that if you even move them a little that it acts like i pushed the stick all the way in that direction this one is sensitive enough to steering input

Its not nearly as well calibrated and acurate as the original sony playstation wired controller but it is good enough

Its not even half as good as the official nintendo wavebird wireless controller that was avaiable at that time for the nintendo gamecube which was the competing console at that time along with the original xbox
