Logitech linux support seems to be notoriously bad but very basic functionality works out of the box in ubuntu 13

Simply tapping the pad does nothing in linux

The other brand touch pad on my laptop has similar features but does not execute the sensitivity for each feature correctly

The touchpad responds instantly to moves with even a light touch of one finger and clicks via tap are just the right amount of sensitivity so that you dont accidentally click something
