Pros & Cons
Pros
Touchpad is more comfortable than a mouse. I use the unifying system, which is convenient because i also have a logitech wireless keyboard. My setup is on lenovo toga 2 pro, docked with external monitor and keyboard.
The all glass top makes it even more enjoyable to use. The pad has a no-glare finish and is resistant to fingerprints. It's easy to clean, i just wipe it off with a damp lint free cloth.
The plug and play makes it super easy to use. Has a great battery too. It's solidly built. Battery life is exceptional.
Cons
Compared to a mouse tho, the t650 is a poor substitute. In my personal opinion there is no advantage to using a trackpad over a mouse unless it's gestures make navigation and control smoother.
The setpoint software constantly crashes and locks up the computer so you have to do a hard reboot (losing anything not saved) every time i power on or wake up my computer i have to plug the dongle in 4 or 5 times before it finally detects the touchpa... Read More
The bluetooth connection is the worst i have ever seen. Extremely unresponsive and difficult to use. Another irritant is the errors that pile up in the event-viewer.
Pretty ridiculous. Very irritating. At all. Not so. Everything is soooo sloooooow.
Highlights
Quality
Stable connection, smooth precise operation, like the large real estate
Super smooth surface to operate and trivial to get setup and working.
Instead of buttons on the surface, they made the front feet buttons, so you press the (rigid) touchpad down and that compresses... Read More
The buttons are actually built into the lower feet on each corner for left and right click.
Price
A bit on the pricey side, but top quality.
The used/refurbs are an exceptionally good value.
I picked up a used / like new for $25 that looks like it has never been opened which is also a plus.
Price was very good when i got it.
Shipping
Product arrived on time (all the way to australia) and was as described.
" i received my logitech rechargeable touchpad t650 in just a few days, and basically plugged it in, and a download automatically started.
Competitiveness
The most similar trackpad to an apple magic trackpad 2.
All things considered, it is a very economical alternative to the apple touchpad (yes, it has a white mac version as well!
Unfortunately, like some of its other avant garde products, logitech seems to have abandoned this little gem.

It even lacks windows precision compatibility so its just a basic trackpad in both windows and mac

The most common complaint ive seen is that they were originally designed for windows 8 so some of the shortcuts dont work on windows 10

However i didnt use the affected shortcuts very often since they were shortcuts for features in windows 8 that drove me crazy

When i switched over to windows 10 happy to be rid of windows 8 i didnt notice much of a change in the touchpads capabilities

If shortcuts are what you care about maybe look into the new version
