Pros & Cons
Pros
I love that it's rechargeable. The trackpad has a decent charge capacity - i use it at work and, on average, have to charge it once per week. It tracks probably 99% as well as the magic trackpad- which is beyond good enough. Comes with a durable usb c... Read More
If you're looking for a cheaper version of the official mac trackpad this is definitely a contender. Logitech are good at what they do. Phenomenal product. Very minor complaints.
Logitech trackpad is every bit as well made and premium feeling as apple's. The logitech is a heavier and therefore much more solid piece of hardware.
Pairable via bluetooth - an important consideration since some of logitech's devices require a separate radio/ir dongle that plugs into a usb port. It connects to my mac over bluetooth more quickly than my apple pad did. Installation of that software ... Read More
Cons
The tracking, even at the highest speed, pales in comparison to the tracking on the standard macbook pro trackpad. Secondly, it is not as accurate as the apple trackpads - i have used both and this one makes it difficult to make powerpoint presentatio... Read More
There is a 'set up bluetooth trackpad' button in the trackpad preferences, but this is unable to locate the logitech. The bluetooth goes out regularly. Replacing batteries takes as long as plugging this thing in every week.

Packaging/appearance
I received this rechargeable trackpad as a gift and i really like it so far.
Competitiveness
I would definitely recommend this as an alternative to someone who is in the market for the apple track pad.
Logitech's own branded device management software is very similar to the mac version, but adds some nice features (onscreen not... Read More
If i were to buy another product such as this, i would just buy the more expensive apple product.
I've owned it for a year and it's definitely the alternative for the more expensive apple brand.
