Pros
Overall, great keyboard and mouse combo. I was very happy that a replacement was still available. The mouse movements are fantastic. This combo is fantastic value for the price!
Right from the box to the comp,hooked up and running in 15 minutes. I don't have a desk, so my keyboard either sits on my bed or in my lap. This is probably due to the pull-out desk-drawer that's held up by the sliding-rods.
The keys are low-set and exceptionally quiet. The keyboard has a full sized number pad, which is important for data entry.
The keyboard and mouse take two aa batteries that are included in the box. I use to have to reach for the speaker dial to turn volume up and down. The remote device serves also as an indicator for number lock and caps lock.
The keyboard is ergonomic and curves nicely under my wrists. However, i wish logitech would've made it much much smaller, like their nano usb plug-in. Full scrolling wheel (with available side-scrolling).
Cons
Keyboard becomes non-responsive all the time. Everything else functions properly, but unresponsive keys make this product worthless.

Great product as long as you have the receiver very close to the product.
Having bought a logitech cam years ago i knew the quality would be there and it was.

Its cost me countless hours of frustration and returning 2 other similar systems to figure this out.

I hook them up and they worked rigth away.
Now on two pcs, (one over a year)operating as advertised.

The battery door on the keyboard broke the first time i installed batteries but a little electrical tape to keep it in place and

After about 10 feet the signal gets scrambled and doesnt allow for proper use

This worked for 4 months and then the keyboard became unresponsive similar to other reports on here

Here is what the support person recommended which worked so far1 remove batteries from keyboard2 press space bar repeatedly for 20 seconds3 replace keyboard batteries4 press connect button on reciever5 press connect button on keyboard6 try it out for three minutes

If you experience the same problems again they give you a reference number and you can call back and the next step will be to replace the keyboard

Fyi the number to call for service is 1 6464543200it got to a human pretty quickly although the website was very little help
