I cleaned up the battery compartment and all is well, but i have to take away one star for not being perfect right out of the box.

Competitiveness

Without a doubt the best lapdesk i have ever used and you can't beat the price.

This was the best option for my new 10-inch laptop.

There's merchants that are trying to sell the old n315 lapdesk tray for $189 ( that's 6x the originally msrp of $29.

In any case, the n600 has no direct competitors as far as i'm aware, which is why it gets the full 5 stars.
