Cons
Trackball is made from the cheapest possible materials. When you roll the ball with your thumb it tends to bounce around within its socket instead of rolling smoothly. Marble mouse trackball is much nicer than this trackman model.

I went through 3-4 of these, wired and wireless before i gave up and went back to an ergonomic non roller ball
Price
For all those wondering why this is selling for $300 new and even upwards of $50+ used i can answer that.
I would never buy one for $299.
Can't find them at reasonable price anymore
This is a difficult item to find for a decent price these days.
Packaging/appearance
The firstone got worn out; daily use/ packing and unpacking daily after 5 years it finally died.

It is not that good for gaming as doing all your cursor positioning with your thumb isnt particularly fast might take 2 or 3 swipes to get the cursor where you want it or accurate but it does the job well for everyday browsing spreadsheets etc
